R-3637 and R-3638, respectively AMENDMENT TO DIRECTION OF ELECTION May 19, 194,2 On May 5, 1942, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Election 1 in the above-entitled proceeding. The Regional Director for the Nineteenth Region (Seattle, Wash- ington) has notified the Board that International Woodworkers of America, Local 38, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organi- zations, one of the labor organizations which. will participate in the election, requests that it be designated on the ballot as "Local 331" rather than as "Local 38," and has recommended that the request be granted. .. The Board hereby amends its, Direction of Election by striking therefrom the expression "Local 38" in the name of said labor organ- ization,and substituting therefor. the expression -"Local 331." 140 N. Pur- suant .to the Direction of Election and the Amendment thereto, an election by secret ballot was conducted on June 2, 1942, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Nineteenth Region, Seattle, Washington.. On June'3,1942, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of the National Labor Relations Board.Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. Dyche and Robert H. Clark, but exclud- ing clerical employees, supervisory employees, with the right to hire and discharge, (including William Soller, Earl Brand, Lee Allen Wills, H. Jakubovski, George Gilmore Hughes, and Ivan A. Taylor), boom men and tug men, as their representatives for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that pursuant to the provisions of Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Lumber and Sawmill Workers Union Local 2761, A. F. of L., is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining, with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other con- ditions of employment.
