Case No. R-2439 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES August 9, 1941 On June 10, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board,. herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceeding.' On July 7, 1941, the Board issued an Amendment to Direction of Election.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election, as amended, an election by secret ballot was conducted on July 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Twenty-first Region (Los Angeles, California). On July 21, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pur- suant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties 'on Election Report on the ballot. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. R B 172 34 N L R B, No. 19 123 124 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local B-266, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, has been designated and selected by a majority of all produc- tion, distribution, and maintenance employees listed in Appendix A of Salt River Valley Water Users Association, Phoenix, Arizona, including foremen, pump foreman, chief operators, assistant chief operator (at Roosevelt), power-canal foreman, electrician supervisor, warehouseman (at Cross Cut), zanjeros, hydrographers, gauge reader, chemist (field tester), but excluding the employees listed in Ap- pendix B, pipe-plant foreman, shop foreman (Cross Cut machine shop), clerks (general office-16th Street branch, Cross Cut branch, and Roosevelt branch), chief hydrographer, and janitor (Mesa branch), as their representative for the purposes of collective bar- gaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local B-266, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
