The election was conducted pursuant to a Stipulated Election Agreement. The tally of ballots shows 279 ballots cast for and 261 ballots cast against the Petitioner, with 1 void ballot and 17 challenged ballots, an insufficient number to affect the results. No exceptions have been filed to the hearing officer's report within the time provided. Accordingly, the Board adopts the hearing officer's findings and recommendations, and finds that a certification of representative should be issued.1 1 The Hearing Officer recommended overruling Employer’s Objections 1 through 3. 2 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE IT IS CERTIFIED that a majority of the valid ballots have been cast for California Nurses Association/National Nurses United (CNAINNU) and that it is the exclusive collective-bargaining representative of the employees in the following appropriate unit: All full-time and regular part-time and per diem Registered Nurses, including those who served as relief charge nurses, employed in positions requiring an RN license and employed by the Employer at 4101 Torrance Blvd, Torrance, California 90503.2 Dated, Washington, D.C., December 27, 2013.
