Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on November 7, 1941, by the Regional Director for the Eighteenth Region (Minneapolis, Minnesota). - On November 12, 1941, the Re- gional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties his Election Report. On November 17, 1941, United Electrical, Radio & Machine Workers of America, Local 1140, herein called the C. I. 0., filed objections to the conduct of the ballot and to the Election Report. O. notified the Regional Director that it with- drew its objections to the Regional Director's Election Report and to the certification of Associated Independent Unions, Local No. 18.
