On August 22, 1941, the Board issued an Amendment to Direction of Election.2 Pursuant to the Direction of Election, as amended, an election by secret ballot was conducted on August 28,1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the First Region (Boston, Massachusetts). On August 29, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor -Relations Board Rules and Regulations- Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties, an Election Report on the ballot. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. B, No. 107. 472 NATIONAL FIREWORKS, INC. 473 at the West Hanover plants of National Fireworks, Inc., West Han- over, Massachusetts, including firemen or engineers, truck drivers and helpers, and inspectors, but excluding executives, salesmen, office clerks, plant police, engineers, draftsmen, superintendents and their assistants, foremen, clerks in ordnance and fireworks department; timekeepers, clerks in maintenance department, gang bosses in production depart- ment, gang bosses in maintenance and construction department, and gang bosses or assistant foremen in fireworks plant, as their represent- ative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Federal Labor Union No. 22694, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in re- spect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
