Case No. R-2718 AMENDMENT TO DIRECTION OF ELECTION August 22, 19.41 On August 5, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceedings.' On August 20,1941, Gas & By-Products, Coke & Chemical Workers, District 50, United Mine Workers of America, filed a motion request- ing that it be permitted to withdraw from the election and that its name be omitted from the ballot in the election to be held. The motion is hereby granted and the Direction of Election amended by striking therefrom the words "to determine whether they desire to be repre- sented by Federal Labor Union No. 22694, affiliated with the Amer- ican Federation of Labor, or by Gas & By-Products, Coke & Chemical Workers, District 50, United Mine Workers of America, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, for the purposes of collective bargaining, or by neither" and substituting therefor the words "to determine whether or not they desire to be represented by Federal Labor Union No. 22694, affiliated with the American Feder- ation of Labor, for the purposes of collective bargaining."
