R-4119 and R-4120, respectively CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES October 6, 19.43 On August 28, 1942, the National Labor Relations Board issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled case.' Pur- suant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was con- ducted on September 16, 1942, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Tenth Region (Atlanta, Georgia). On September 18, 1942, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regu- lations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. No. 163 829 830 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that District 50, United Mine Workers of America has been designated and selected by a majority of the produc- tion and maintenance employees at the Second Avenue Branch of the- Company, excluding office, clerical, and supervisory employees, as their. representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, District 50, United Mine Workers of America is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and .other conditions of employment.
