Cases Nos. R-2803 to R-2806, inclusive SUPPLEMENTAL DECISION AND ORDER March' 26, 194 On September 20, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Elections in the above-entitled proceeding.' On October 16, 1941, and December- 8, 1941, respectively, the Board issued an Amendment to Decision and' Direction of Elections, and a Second Amendment to Decision and Direction of Elections.' Pursuant to the Direction of Elections as amended, elections by secret ballot were conducted on January 7, 1'942, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Fifteenth Region (New Orleans, Louisiana). On January 12, 1942, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations- Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballots or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. As to the balloting and its results, the Regional Director reported as follows : ` GROUP NO. L--------------------------------------------------- 11 The results of the elections show that no collective, bargaining repre- sentative has been selected by a majority of the employees of the Com- pany in any of the units heretofore found to be appropriate for collec- tive bargaining. We shall, therefore, dismiss the petitions for investi- gation and certification of representatives of employees of the Company. i ORDER By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Relations Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the petitions for investigation and certifica- tion of representatives of employees of Merrill-Stevens Dry Dock Com- r 1162 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD pany, Miami, Florida, filed by International Association of Machinists, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Interna- tional Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union No. 349, and International Brotherhood of Boilermakers , Iron Shipbuilders and 'Helpers of America, each affiliated with American Federation of Labor, be, and they hereby are, dismissed.
