MEMBER Dated, Washington, D.C., January 11, 2012. 1 In denying review of the Acting Regional Director’s finding that Petitioner is a labor organization under Sec. 2(5) of the Act, we note that while it does not appear that Petitioner formally amended the petition at the hearing to change the name of the Petitioner from League of International Federated Employees (LIFE) to LIFE, Local 890, the Petitioner’s witness clearly testified, “[Local] 890 is LIFE,” and therefore LIFE and LIFE, Local 890 are the same entity, and the Acting Regional Director correctly found that LIFE, Local 890 is the Petitioner.
