R-3950, R-3951, and R-5952, respectively CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES August 14, 194 On July '9, 1942, the National Labor Relations Board- issued a Decision and Direction of Elections in the above-entitled proceed- ing.' Pursuant to the Direction of Elections, elections by secret ballot were conducted on July 30, 1942, under the direction, and supervision of the Acting Regional Director for the Tenth Region (Atlanta, Georgia). On August 1, 1942, the Acting Regional Direc- tor, acting 'pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, is- sued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report- on the ballot. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. IT IS FURTHER CERTIFIED that International Association of 'Machin- ists, Lodge #1301, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, 218 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD has been designated and selected by a majority of the following employees of Lansdowne Steel and Iron Company, Gadsden, Ala- bama, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargain- ing : All machinists, machinists' helpers, machinists' apprentices, machine operators, better known as production workers, machine and maintenance employees and helpers, millwrights and helpers, tool and die makers, machine tool grinders, welders and burners, working foremen, lead men, and gas powered tractor operators, excluding office and clerical employees; executives, general superintendent, shop superintendent, laborers, guards, watchmen, supervisory employees with authority to hire or discharge or authority to remove employees from service, and employees not specifically included; and that, pur- suant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, International Association of Ma- chinists, Lodge #1301, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment. IT IS FURTHER CERTIFIED that `International Brotherhood' of Black- smiths, Drop Forgers and Helpers, Local #633, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, has been designated and selected by a majority of the following employees of, Lansdowne-Steel and Iron Company, Gadsden,, Alabama, as their representative for the pur- poses of collective bargaining : All heat treating department em- ployees and helpers, forge shop employees, including heaters, press operators and helpers, shell inspectors in the forge and heat treating department, furnace lead men, breakers and helpers, excluding office and clerical employees, executives, general superintendent, shop su- perintendent, laborers, guards, watchmen, supervisory employees hav- ing authority to hire or discharge or authority to remove employees from- service, and employees not specifically included; and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, International Brotherhood of Blacksmiths, Drop Forgers and Helpers, Local #633, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the -purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other condi- tions of employment.
