Case No R-376.2 SECOND DIRECTION OF ELECTION - July 14,19412 0 On June 5, 1942, the National Labor Relations Board, her em called the Board, issued its Decision and Direction of Election in the above- entitled proceeding 1 Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an elec- tion by secret ballot was conducted on June 29, 1942, under the direc- tion and supervision of the Regional Director for the Third Region (Buffalo , New York), and on June 30, 1942, the said Regional Director issued an Election Report, copies of which were duly served upon the parties . No objections were filed to the said Election Report by any of the parties - As to the balloting and the results thereof, the Regional Director reported as follows. Relations Act, and pursuant to^Aiticle III, Sections 88 and 9, of National Labor Rela- tions Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended , it is hereby DIRECTED that, as part of the investigation to ascertain representa- tives foi the purposes of collective bargaining with Julius Kayser & Co, Walton , New York, an election by secret ballot shall be conducted as soon as possible , but not latei than thnty ( 30) days fiom the date of this Second Direction of Election , under the direction and super- vision of the Regional Director for the Third Region, acting in this matter as agent for the National Labor Relations Board, and subject to Article III, Section 9', of said Rules :i ,nd Regulations , among the employees described in the Decision and Direction of Election issued on June 5, 1942 , but excluding- those who have since quit or been dis- charged for cause, to determine whether they desire to be represented by United Textile Workers of America , affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, or by Textile Workers Union of America , affili- ated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, for the purposes of collective bargaining Copy with citationCopy as parenthetical citation
