Employer and LOCAL 660, UNITED WORKERS OF AMERICA Petitioner Case 29-RC-103488 DECISION AND CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE The National Labor Relations Board has considered objections to an election held May 31, 2013, and the hearing officer's report recommending disposition of them. The election was conducted pursuant to a Stipulated Election Agreement. The tally of ballots shows 15 ballots cast for the Petitioner, 25 ballots cast for the Intervenor,1 and 1 ballot cast against the participating labor organizations. There were 0 void ballots and 0 challenged ballots, an insufficient number to affect the results. No exceptions have been filed to the hearing officer's report within the time provided. Accordingly, the Board adopts the hearing officer's findings and recommendations, and finds that a certification of representative should be issued.2 1 Local 2179, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW), AFL-CIO 2 The Hearing Officer recommended that the Board overrule the Petitioner’s objections 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE IT IS CERTIFIED that a majority of the valid ballots have been cast for Local 2179, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW), AFL-CIO and that it is the exclusive collective-bargaining representative of the employees in the following appropriate unit: All office, warehouse, and maintenance employees, but excluding bookkeepers, confidential secretaries, executives, supervisory personnel, laboratory employees, and guards.
