DECISION AND CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE
The National Labor Relations Board has considered objections to a mail ballot election
held from September 18, 2012 to October 9, 2012 regarding Unit A1, and the Regional Director's
report recommending disposition of them. The election was conducted pursuant to a Stipulated
Election Agreement. The revised tally of ballots shows 34 ballots cast for and 33 ballots cast
against the Petitioner, with 0 void ballots and 0 challenged ballots.
No exceptions have been filed to the Regional Director's report within the time provided.
Accordingly, the Board adopts the Regional Director's findings and recommendations, and finds
that a certification of representative should be issued.

CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE
IT IS CERTIFIED that a majority of the valid ballots have been cast for American
Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, (AFSCME), Local 800 and that it is the
exclusive collective-bargaining representative of the employees in the following appropriate unit:
All-full time and regular part-time employees employed by the Employer and
working for the L.A. County GAIN program at the following locations: 27233
Camp Plenty Road, Santa Clarita, CA 91351; 3307 N. Glenoaks Blvd., Burbank,
CA 91504; 1050 East Palmdale Blvd., Palmdale, CA 93550; and 21415 Plummer
St., Suite B, Chatsworth, CA 91311; but excluding all other employees,
confidential employees, managerial employees, already represented employees,
guards and supervisors as defined in the Act, as amended.
