Pursuant to the Direction of Elections, elections by secret ballot were conducted on June 18, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Thirteenth Region (Chicago, Illinois). On June 20, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9,.of National Labor Rela- tions Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report on the ballot. I. 0 Union__________________________ 1,383 Total number of ballots cast for neither________________________________ 160 On June 26, 1941, Local 109, Farm Equipment Workers Organiz- ing Committee, herein called the F. E. W. O. C., filed Objections to the Conduct of the Ballot and the Election Report. On July 23, 1941, the Regional Director issued a Report on Objections to Election Report. We have considered the Objections of the F. E. W. O. C. and the Regional Director's Report thereon and find that the Objections raise no substantial or material issues with respect to the conduct of the ballot. The Objections are hereby overruled. By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Rela- tions Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, IT Is HEREBY CERTIFIED that Pattern Makers League of North Amer- ica, Quad Cities Association, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, has been designated and selected by a majority of all pat- tern makers and pattern makers' apprentices at the Farmall Works of International Harvester Company, Rock Island, Illinois, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Pattern Makers League of North America, Quad Cities Association, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such em- ployees in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment. IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Federal Labor Union No. 22657, affili- ated with the American Federation of Labor, has been designated and selected by a majority of all production and maintenance employees at the Farmall Works of International Harvester Company, Rock Island, Illinois, excluding salaried employees, supervisory employees on hourly rates above the rank of working group leaders, factory clerical employees, indentured apprentices, progressive executive stu- dents, fire and watch employees, temporary employees, pattern mak- ers, and pattern makers' apprentices, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, Federal Labor Union No. 22657, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of em- ployment, and other conditions of employment.
