Case No. B-3686 SUPPLEMENTAL DECISION AND 'CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES Jwne 04,194 On May 12, 1942, the National Labor Relations Board issued its Decision and Direction of Election 1 in the above-entitled proceedings. Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on June 8, 1942, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Eleventh Region (Indianapolis, Indiana) among employees in the die shop of Indianapolis Drop Forging Company, Indianapolis, Indiana, herein called the Company. On June 9, 1942, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regu- lations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. O.)---------------------------------------------- 0 Votes cast for neither------------------------------------ '0 In its Decision and Direction of Election, to which reference is made above, the Board stated that upon the results of the election should depend, in part,-the appropriate unit; that in the event that 140 N . B., No. 226. 1235 1236 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD' the Die Sinkers should receive a majority of the votes cast in the election, the employees in the Company's die shop [with certain stated exceptions] would constitute a separate appropriate unit for which the Die Sinkers would be certified as exclusive bargaining representative. Upon the entire record in the case, the Board makes the following: SUPPLEMENTAL FINDING OF FACT We find that all employees in the Company's die shop, excluding clerical employees, checkers, timekeepers, and such shop foremen and supervisors as are exclusively employed in the direction of work- ing forces and who have the power to hire and discharge, constitute a unit appropriate for the,purposes of collective bargaining within the meaning of Section 9 (b) of the National Labor Relations Act. CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Rela- tions Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Indianapolis Die Sinkers' Lodge No. 230, affiliated with the International Die Sinkers' Conference, has been designated and selected by a majority of all employees in the die shop of Indianapolis Drop Forging Company, Indianapolis,, Indiana, excluding clerical employees, checkers, timekeepers, and such shop foremen and supervisors as are exclusively employed in the direction of working forces and' who have the power to hire and discharge, as their representative for the purposes of collective bar- gaining, and that, pursuant-to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Indianapolis Die Sinkers'- Lodge -No. -230, affiliated with the International Die Sinkers' Conference, is the- exclusive -representative of all such em- ,ployees for the purposes ofof collective -bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
