CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES
August W, 1942
On July 15, 1942; the National Labor Relations ,Board issued a
Decision and Direction of 'E] ections in the above-entitled proceed-
ing.' , On July 28, 1942, the Board issued an Amendment to Direction
of Elections.2 Pursuant to the Direction of Elections, as amended,
elections by secret ballot were conducted on August 11, 1942, under
,the direction and supervision of the .Regional Director for the First
Region (Boston, Massachusetts). On August 13, 1942, the Regional
Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor
Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended,-issued
and duly served upon the parties an Election Report upon the ballot.
No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have
been filed by any of the parties.
As to the balloting and its results, the Regional Director reported as

lations Act, 49 Stat. 449, and' pursuant to Article III; Sections •8 and
9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations- Series
2, as amended,
IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Textile Workers Union of America,'
affiliated with the Congress` of Industrial Organizations, has been
designated and selected by a majority of all production and mainte-
nance employees of Howard Arthur Mills, Fall River, Massachu-
setts, excluding executive, supervisory, office, and clerical employees,
as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and
that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Textile Workers Union
of America, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations,
is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the ,purposes
of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of
employment, and, other conditions of employment.

setts, excluding executive, supervisory , office, and clerical , employees,
as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and
that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act , United Textile Workers of
America, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the
exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of
collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages , hours of em-
ployment, and other conditions of employment.

affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, has been designated

exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of

affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations , has been
designated and selected by a majority of all production and mainte-
nance employees of Bourne Mills, Fall River , Massachusetts, exclud-
ing executive , supervisory, office, and clerical employees , as their
representative for the purposes of collective bargaining , and that,
pursuant to,Section 9 (a) of the Act, Textile Workers Union 'of
America, affiliated with the Congress of.Industrial Organizations, is
the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of
collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages , hours of-
employment , and other conditions of employment.
