Case No. R-3367 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES March 6, 1942 On January 29, 1942, the National Labor Relations Board issued its Decision and Direction of Election I in the above-entitled proceed- ing. Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on February 20, 1942, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Second Region (New York City). On February 21, 1942, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the election'or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. By virtue"of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Relations Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that International Jewelry Workers, affil- iated with the American Federation of Labor, has been designated 138 N. L . R. B. 676 39 N. L. R. B.,,No. 99. 558 H. L. JUDD COMPANY, INC. 559 and selected by a majority of all production and maintenance em- ployees of the H. L. Judd Company, Inc., employed at Wallingford, Connecticut, including shipping and receiving employees, but ex- cluding executives and supervisors, foremen, working foremen who have power to hire or discharge or.to recommend hire or discharge, draftsmen, machine-designing engineers, inventors, lay-out engineers, watchmen, nurses, factory clerks who do no production work, and office employees as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to the provisions of Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, International Jewelry Workers, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive rep- resentative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bar- gaining with"respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment. 448105-42-vol. 39=37 Copy with citationCopy as parenthetical citation
