Case No: R-391 - - CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES ,May 28, 1914 On March 14, 1942, the National,Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the :above-entitled case.,- On April 8, 1942, the Board issued an Amend- ment to Decision and Direction of Election,2 on May 2, 1942, it issued a Supplemental Decision and Second Amendment to Direction of Election,3 and on May 12, 1942,' it issued a Third Amendment to Di-- rection of Election., Pursuant to the above, an election by secret ballot was conducted on May 14 and 15, 1942, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Ninth Region (Cin- cinnati, Ohio). On May 16, 1942, the Regional Director, acting pur- suant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. RELATIONS BOARD By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Rela- tions Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that International Union, United - Auto- mobile, Aircraft & Agricultural Implement Workers of America (U. A. W.-C. I. 0.) has been designated and selected by a majority of the production and maintenance employees of General Machinery Corporation, Hamilton, Ohio, excluding pattern makers, foundry workers, office employees, supervisors, foremen, and any person having the power to hire and discharge, as their representative for the pur- poses of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, International Union, United Automobile, Aircraft & Agricultural Implement Workers of America (U. A. W.-C. I. 0.) is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of -collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
