Jul. 29, 2010) Copy Citation Portland, OR UNITED STATES OF AMERICA BEFORE THE NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD FRENCH AMERICAN SCHOOL OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST d/b/a THE PORTLAND FRENCH SCHOOL Employer and Case 36-RC-6481 ASSOCIATED FRENCH SCHOOL EMPLOYEES affiliated with AMERICAN FREDERATION OF TEACHERS, AFL-CIO Petitioner DECISION AND DIRECTION The National Labor Relations Board has considered determinative challenged ballots in an election held April 16, 2010, and the hearing officer's report recommending disposition of them. The election was conducted pursuant to a Stipulated Election Agreement. The tally of ballots in Voting Group A shows 10 ballots cast for inclusion with non-professional employees and 12 ballots cast against the inclusion with non-professional employees, with 3 challenged ballots, a sufficient number to affect the results. No exceptions have been filed to the hearing officer's report within the time provided. Accordingly, the Board adopts the hearing officer's findings and recommendations. DIRECTION IT IS DIRECTED that the Officer in Charge for Subregion 36 shall, within 14 days of this direction, open and count the ballots of Anne Robins, Dominique Bradley and Bettina Calaba of Voting Group A, and thereafter prepare and serve on the parties a revised tally of ballots in Voting Group A. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the challenge to ballot of Andrea Vergun of Voting Group B be opened and counted as appropriate. Dated, Washington, D.C., July 29, 2010.
