DECISION ON APPEAL Appellant seeks our review under 35 U.S.C. § 134(a) of the Examiner's Final Office Action rejecting claims 16-30, which are all the claims pending on appeal. Appeal2018-007133 Application 13/698,778 STATEMENT OF THE CASE Appellant's invention relates to "a method and a system for securing a remote transmission of an image intended to be captured by a photosensitive receiver of a video system [shown in Figure 1]." Spec. 1:3-5. Figure 1 is reproduced below with additional markings for illustration. F!G 1 Figure 1 shows a video system including securing device 13 for securing a remote transmission of a video image taken by camera 11 on board vehicle 1 for visual display 22 at remote control station 2. According to Appellant, the video system "is a system for remotely viewing at least one image taken by said photosensitive receiver 111, said image being intended for example to enable an operator, located at the control station 2, to remotely control said vehicle 1 by viewing the real-time display of said image of said object." Spec. 19:7-12. Securing device 13, shown in Figures 2-3, is "intended to be coupled and to cooperate with such 2 Appeal2018-007133 Application 13/698,778 a video system so as to guarantee a match between the image of said object taken by the photosensitive receiver 111, and said image of said object displayable in real-time remotely using said display device 22." Spec. 19:12-15. This way "it [is] possible to automatically diagnose a failure of the video image of said object and to automatically trigger an alarm (visual, audible, vibrating, etc.)." Spec. 26: 18-20.
