I Case No. R-3993 SUPPLEMENTAL DECISION" AND CERTIFICATION 'OF REPRESENTATIVES, September 29, 19 ¢ 2 On July 30, 1942, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued its Decision and Direction of Elections in the above- entitled proceeding.' Pursuant to the Direction of Elections, elections by secret ballot were conducted on August 20, 1942, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Seventh Region (Detroit, Michigan). On August 22, 1942, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued an Elec- tions Report, copies of which were duly served upon the parties. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Elections Report have been filed by any of the parties. The Board then stated : "If the employees in, both groups select the same representative , they will together constitute a single appropriate unit; if they select different representatives they will constitute separate units." Upon the basis of the entire , record in the case, the Board makes the following : SUPPLEMENTAL FINDING OF FACT We find that all the employees of Dunn Sulphite Paper Company,, Port Huron, Michigan, employed in the beater department, the paper ,machine department, the finishing department, the shipping depart- ment, the bleaching department, power department, repairs, con- struction and maintenance department, mill oiling department, stores and receiving department, yard department, and salvage man, exclud- ing office, clerical, and supervisory employees, constitutea unit appro- priate for the purposes of collective bargaining within the meaning of Section 9 (b) of the Act. CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Relations Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, ' IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that United Paper, Novelty and Toy Workers, International Union, C. I. 0., has been designated and selected by a majority of all the employees of Dunn Sulphite Paper Company, Port Huron, Michigan, employed in the beater department, the paper ma- chine department, the finishing department, the shipping department, the- bleaching-department, -power"department,. repairs, construction and maintenance ' department, mill oiling department, stores and re- DUNN SULPHITE ,PAPER COMPANY 631 ceiving department, yard department, and salvage man, excluding 6ffice, clerical, and supervisory employees, as their representative for, the purposes of collective bargaining and that, pursuant to the provi- sions-of Section. 9 (a) of the Act, United Paper, Novelty and Toy Workers, International Union, C. I. 0., is the.exclusive representative of all such employees. for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to-rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other con- ditions of employment.
