SECOND AMENDMENT TO DIRECTION OF ELECTION
April 29, 1942
On October 9, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board, herein
called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the
above-entitled proceeding,' and on November 7, 1941, an Amendment
to Direction of Election 2 postponing the election until such time as
the Board might in the future direct. The Board, having been ad-
vised by the Acting Regional Director for the Nineteenth Region
(Seattle, Washington) that an election may now appropriately be
held, hereby amends its Direction of Election, as amended, by striking
therefrom the words "at such time as the Board may in- the future
direct" and substituting therefor the words "as early as possible, but
not later than thirty (30) days from the date of this Second Amend-
ment to Direction of Election"; and by striking therefrom the words
"who were employed during the pay-roll period immediately preceding
the date of this Direction" and substituting therefor the words "who
were employed during the pay-roll period immediately preceding May
1, 1942."
