ORDER Termination of the Proceeding 37 C.F.R. §§ 42.72 Case IPR2019-01115 Patent 7,720,929 B2 2 This inter partes review of claims 1, 2, 8–12, and 17 of U.S. Patent No. 7,720,929 B2 (Ex. 1001, “the ’929 patent”) was instituted on November 26, 2019. Paper 6. On July 14, 2020, Patent Owner filed a “Notice of Decision Invalidating Instituted Claims and Statutory Disclaimer” explaining that on July 1, 2020, the Federal Circuit affirmed a district court decision invalidating all the claims of the ’929 patent as directed to ineligible subject matter under 35 U.S.C. § 101. Paper 26 (“Notice”). Following the entry of that decision, on July 8, 2020, Patent Owner filed a disclaimer of claims 1, 2, 8–12, and 17. Id. at 1 (citing Ex. 2005). Under these circumstances, with no claims remaining to be challenged, we determine that it is appropriate to terminate this inter partes review. 37 C.F.R. §§ 42.72.
