DECISION AND ORDER November 7, 1941 On September 18, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceeding.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by. secret ballot was conducted on October 10, 1941, by the Regional Director for the Twentieth Region '(San Francisco, Cali- fornia). On October 13, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties her Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. As to the balloting and its results, the Regional Director reported as follows : Total number eligible to vote-------------------------------- 39 Number of votes for International Longshoremen's & Ware- housemen's Union, Local 6--------------------------------- 15 Number of votes against International Longshoremen's & warehousemen's Union, Local 6---------------------------- 19 Total number of votes counted-------------------------------- 34 Number of blank ballots------------------------------------ 0 Number of void ballots-------------------------------------- 0 Number of challenged ballots-------------------------------- 4 The results of the election show that no collective bargaining repre- sentative has been selected by a majority of the employees of the Company in the unit heretofore found to be appropriate for the pur- poses of collective bargaining.
