Pursuant to the Direction of Elections, elections by secret ballot were conducted on March 13, 1942, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Eighteenth Region (Minneapolis, Minnesota). On March 16, 1942, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. I. 0------------------------------------ 24 By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Relations Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Local Union No. 2073, Steel Workers Organizing Committee, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Or- ganizations, has been designated and selected by a majority of all production and maintenance employees of Canisteo Mining Company, Duluth, Minnesota, and The Cleveland-Cliffs Iron Company, Hibbing, Minnesota, at the mines, shops, plants, and laboratory, known as the Canisteo Mine, excluding foremen and assistant foremen who from time to time act as foremen, policemen and watchmen, clerical and office employees, as their representative for the purposes of collective bar- gaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Local Union No. 2073, Steel Workers Organizing Committee, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in re- spect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment; and IT IS FURTHER CERTIFIED that Local Union No. 2073, Steel Workers Organizing Committee, affiliated with' the Congress of Industrial Or- ganizations, has been designated and selected by a majority of all pro- duction and maintenance employees of Mesaba-Cliffs Mining Company and The Cleveland-Cliffs Iron Company, Hibbing, Minnesota, at the mines, shops, and plants, known as the Hill-Trumbull and Holman- Cliffs Mines, excluding foremen and assistant foremen who from time to time act as foremen, policemen, and watchmen, clerical and office employees, as their representative for the purposes of collective bar- gaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Local Union No. 2073, Steel Workers Organizing Committee, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
