Case No. R-3494 SUPPLEMENTAL DECISION AND ORDER April -4,1942 On March 13, 1942, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Electiori,l and on March 27, 1942, an Amendment to Direction of Election 2 in the above-entitled proceeding. Pursuant to the Direction of Election, as amended, an election by secret ballot was conducted on April 7, 1942, by the Acting Regional Director of the Thirteenth Region (Chicago, Illinois). On April 9, 1942, the Acting Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of the National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties his Election Report. No objections to- the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. B, No. 142 814 BREMNER BROS. 815 The results of the election show\that no collective bargaining repre- sentative has been selected by a majority of the employees of Bremner Bros., in the unit heretofore found to be appropriate for collective bargaining. The petition of Factory Bakers' Union, Local No. 100, of Bakery and Confectionery Workers' International Union, affili- ated with the American Federation of Labor, for investigation and certification of representatives of employees of Bremner Bros., Chicago, Illinois, will, therefore, be dismissed. ORDER . By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Relations Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations- Series 2, as amended, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the petition for investigation and cer- tification of representatives of employees of Bremner Bros., Chicago, Illinois, filed by Factory Bakers' Union, Local No. 100, of the Bakery and Confectionery Workers' International Union be, and it hereby is, dismissed. i Copy with citationCopy as parenthetical citation
