R-3751, R--3i'52, and R-3753, respeetively SUPPLEMENTAL DECISION AND CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES September 9, 1942 On May 12, 1942, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued its Decision and Direction of Elections in the above- entitled proceedings? Pursuant to the Direction of Elections, separate elections by secret ballot were conducted ' on June 3, 1942, under- the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Eighteenth Region (Minneapolis, Minnesota). On June 5, 1942, the Regional Di- rector, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Re- lations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued an Elections Report, copies of which were duly served upon the parties. I 0---------------------------------- 0 Upon motion duly filed by United Steelworkers of America praying that the name "United Steelworkers of America" be substituted for the name "Steel Workers Organizing Committee" in the-caption and relevant portions of the record in these proceedings, the Board,.on August 3, 1942, issued and duly served upon the parties its notice to show cause is by the motion should not be granted. No sufficient cause to the contrary having been shown, the Board hereby grants thb motion to substitute the name "United Steelworkers of America" for the name "Steel Workers Organizing Committee." We accordingly, correct the, caption and will certify the United Steelworkers of Amer- ica as exclusive bargaining representative. - CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Relations Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations 'Series 2, as amended, - IT'IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Local Union 2476, United Steelworkers of America, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, has been designated and selected by a majority of all employees of Bennett Mining Company and Pickands, Mather & Company, at the BENNETT MINING COMPANY. 1189 Bennett Mine, Keewatin, Minnesota, excluding foremen, assistant foremen (who are not working foremen), supervisors in charge of any class of labor, policemen, and clerical and salaried employees, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pur- suant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Local Union 2476, United Steel- workers of America, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organi- zations, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment. IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Local Union No. 2456, United Steel- workers of America, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Or- ganizations, has been designated and selected by a majority of all employees of Hoyt Mining Company and Pickands, Mather & Com- pany, at the Scranton Mine, Hibbing, Minnesota, excluding foremen, assistant foremen (who are not working foremen), supervisors, in charge-of any class of labor, policemen, and clerical and salaried em- ployees, as their representative for the purposes of collective bar- ganiiiig, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of they Act, Local Union No. 2456, United Steelworkers of America, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employ- ment.
