Case No. R-0429 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES May ^?7, 1941 On April 14, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued a Decision and Direction of Election Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on May 9, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Seventh Region (Detroit, Michigan). On May 13, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. B, No. 28. 135 136 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Local No. 193, United Rubber Workers of America, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, has been designated and selected by a majority of piecework and hourly rated clock-card factory employees of The B. F. Goodrich Company, engaged at the Cadillac plant, Cadillac, Michigan, in the manufacture of rubber products and in the maintenance of said Cadillac plant, exclusive of the supervisory employees, clerical employees, teachers, and full-time plant protection employees, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Local No. 193, United Rubber `Yorkers of America, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
