F. L.) Case No. R-37.0' CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES May ^?9, 1949 On April 28 , 1942, the National Labor Relations Board issued' its Decision and Direction of Election in this proceeding .' On May 6, 1942; the - Board issued its Supplemental Decision and Amendment to -Direction of Election . 2 On May 13 , 1942, the Board issued its Second Amendment to Direction of Election. Pursuant to the Direction of Election , as amended , an election by secret ballot was conducted on May 11 , 1942, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Twelfth Region (Mil- waukee, Wisconsin). On May 13, 1942 , the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served on the parties an Election Report. No objections to the con- duct of the ballot or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. Being advised that the correct name of the organization so designated was "Independent Union of Automatic Employees ," the Board issued its Second Amendment to Direction of Election . The Regional Director , having been informed that the correct name of the Independent Is "Independent Union of Automatic Products Company Employees ," caused that name to appear upon the ballot. 41 N. F. L.), has been designated and selected by a majority of all production and maintenance employees of Automatic Products Company, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at its two plants in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, excluding supervisory, office, and clerical employees, draftsmen, salesmen, and watchmen, as their rep- resentative for the purposes of collective bargaining and that, pur- suant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, International Union, United Automobile Workers of America, Local 736 (A. F. L.), is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
