DECISION AND CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE
The National Labor Relations Board, by a three-member panel, has considered objections
to an election held June 22, 2012, and the Regional Director’s report recommending disposition
of them. The election was conducted pursuant to a Stipulated Election Agreement. The revised
tally of ballots shows 39 for and 34 against the Petitioner, with 2 void ballots.1
The Board has reviewed the record in light of the exceptions and opposition, has adopted
the Regional Director’s findings and recommendations, and finds that a certification of
representative should be issued.
CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE
IT IS CERTIFIED that a majority of the valid ballots have been cast for National
Emergency Medical Services Association/NAGE Local 2, and that it is the exclusive collective-
bargaining representative of the employees in the following appropriate unit:
Included: All full-time, regular part-time, and per diem EMTs, Paramedics,
Dispatchers, Call Takers, Vehicle Technicians, and Supply Clerks working in and
out of the Employer’s facility located at 15105 South Broadway, Gardena,
California; Excluded: All other employees, office clerical employees,

defined by the Act.
