1 In denying review, we note that the Regional Director may have been mistaken in stating that
the Petitioner was not seeking a self-determination election to add the unit of former Tekmate
technicians—which the Petitioner currently represents pursuant to voluntary recognition—to the
existing certified unit. Nevertheless, such an election would not be warranted here, as it does not
raise a question concerning representation. See Libbey-Owens-Ford Co., 189 NLRB 869 (1971);
Southern California Water Co., 241 NLRB 771, 773 (1979).
