Section 4701 - [Effective 12/9/2024] Purpose and scope of chapter(a) Purpose.--The purpose of this chapter is to create a comprehensive legal framework for the sale, solicitation and negotiation of pet insurance policies in this Commonwealth.(b) Applicability.--This chapter applies to a pet insurance policy that is:(1) sold, solicited or negotiated in this Commonwealth and issued to a resident of this Commonwealth; or(2) delivered or issued for delivery in this Commonwealth.Added by P.L.
