§ 2314. Provision leaving property to one person and usufruct to another

The provision by which the testator leaves the whole or a part of the inheritance to a person and the usufruct to another shall be valid. If several persons are designated to enjoy the usufruct, not simultaneously, but successively, the provisions of § 2308 of this title shall be observed.
