Section 17-2005 - Beer and wine licenses(a)(1) A holder of a Class A beer and wine license may sell beer and wine: (i) on Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and(ii) on Sunday, subject to paragraph (2) of this subsection, from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.(2) To sell beer and wine on Sunday under paragraph (1)(ii) of this subsection, the license holder shall pay an additional fee of $500.(b)(1) A holder of a Class B beer and wine license may sell beer and wine: (i) on Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and(ii) except as provided in paragraph (4) of this subsection and subject to paragraphs (2) and (3) of this subsection, on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.(2) To sell beer and wine on Sunday under paragraph (1)(ii) of this subsection, the license holder shall pay an additional fee of $500.(3) Sales of beer and wine for on-premises consumption may be conducted on Sunday under paragraph (1)(ii) of this subsection only by a licensed restaurant.(4) The license holder may not sell beer or wine at a bar or counter on Sunday.(c)(1) A holder of a Class C beer and wine license may sell beer and wine for on-premises consumption:(i) on Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and(ii) except as provided in paragraph (2) of this subsection, on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.(2) The license holder may not sell beer or wine at a bar or counter on Sunday.(d)(1) A holder of a Class D beer and wine license may sell beer and wine: (i) on Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and(ii) subject to paragraph (2) of this subsection, on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.(2) To sell beer and wine on Sunday under paragraph (1)(ii) of this subsection, the license holder shall pay an additional fee of $500.Added by 2016 Md.
