Section 17-2004 - Beer licenses(a)(1) A holder of a Class A beer license may sell beer: (i) on Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and(ii) subject to paragraph (2) of this subsection, on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.(2) To sell beer on Sunday under paragraph (1)(ii) of this subsection, the license holder shall pay an additional fee of $500.(b)(1) A holder of a Class B beer license may sell beer: (i) on Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and(ii) except as provided in paragraph (4) of this subsection and subject to paragraphs (2) and (3) of this subsection, on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.(2) To sell beer on Sunday under paragraph (1)(ii) of this subsection, the license holder shall pay an additional fee of $500.(3) Sales of beer for on-premises consumption may be conducted on Sunday under paragraph (1)(ii) of this subsection only by a licensed restaurant.(4) The license holder may not sell beer at a bar or counter on Sunday.(c)(1) A holder of a Class C beer license may sell beer for on-premises consumption:(i) on Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and(ii) except as provided in paragraph (2) of this subsection, on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.(2) The license holder may not sell beer at a bar or counter on Sunday.(d)(1) A holder of a Class D beer license may sell beer: (i) on Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and(ii) subject to paragraphs (2) and (3) of this subsection, on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.(2) To sell beer on Sunday under paragraph (1)(ii) of this subsection, the license holder shall pay an additional fee of $500.(3) Sales of beer for on-premises consumption may be conducted on Sunday under paragraph (1)(ii) of this subsection only by a licensed restaurant.Added by 2016 Md.
