Section R23-21-1 - Purpose and Authority(1) This rule is authorized under Section 63A-5b-305 which authorizes the director to make rules necessary for the division or director to perform the division or director's duties and under Section 63A-5b-806 which requires the division to make rules to ensure that, if the division buys or exchanges real property, the value of the real property is congruent with the proposed price and other terms of the purchase or exchange.(2) The statutory provisions governing the leasing, purchase, and exchange of real property by the division are contained in Section 63A-5b-303 and Title 63A, Chapter 5b, Part 8, Acquisitions of Real Property Interests.Utah Admin.
