Section 4.271 - Authority

Authority for this subchapter is provided by Texas Education Code § 61.0512(g) which provides the Board with the authority to approve courses for credit and distance education programs, including off-campus and self-supporting programs, and Texas Education Code § 130.008 and § 28.009, which provide for the offering of dual credit courses by public institutions of higher education.
