Section 2.327 - Career and Technical Education Course Maintenance Archival(a) Subject matter experts at a career and technical education course maintenance workshop may recommend archiving a course in the WECM database.(b) A course may be archived if: (1) The end of course outcomes duplicate those of another course;(2) The course has not been used for five years, as determined by the Coordinating Board's Data Frequency Report; or(3) The course is composed of content that no longer meets the needs of industry.(c) An archived course will remain active for a minimum of one year, beginning September 1 and ending August 31 of the following year.(d) An institution shall not use an archived course in a career and technical education program after August 31 in the year after archival.(e) A team of subject matter experts will identify courses that have not been used for five years or that are no longer relevant to the needs of industry for archiving each January.
