Section 10.92 - DefinitionsDefinitions set forth in Texas Education Code, chapter 58A (relating to Programs Supporting Graduate Medical Education) are hereby incorporated into this rule. The following words and terms, when used in this subchapter, shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
(1) Rural--A location that is eligible for Federal Office of Rural Health Policy grant programs.(2) Rural Training Tracks--As defined in rules and regulations of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in 42 CFR § 413.79(k), is an ACGME-accredited program in which all or some residents/fellows gain both urban and rural experience with more than half of the education and training for the applicable resident(s)/fellow(s) taking place in a rural area.19 Tex.
