Section 770 KAR 1:070 - Capital construction procedures

RELATES TO: KRS 164A.575, 164A.580, 164A.585, 164A.590, 164A.595, 164A.600

NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: KRS 164A.560 authorizes governing boards of each public institution of higher education to elect to perform financial management functions in accordance with KRS 164A.550 to 164A.630 through the promulgation of administrative regulations. This administrative regulation implements the provisions of KRS 164A.575, 164A.580, 164A.585, 164A.590, 164A.595, and 164A.600 at Western Kentucky University.

Section 1. The Western Kentucky University Board of Regents, under the provision of KRS 164A.560, shall elect to perform all functions relating to capital construction in accordance with KRS 164A.575, 164A.580, 164A.585, 164A.590, 164A.595, and 164A.600, and the board shall delegate this responsibility to the president, who shall act on behalf of the board and under the provisions of KRS 164A.560.
