Section 16-77-53 - Proper filing authorizes contractor to operate The proper filing of a renewal application by September 30 of the even-numbered year authorizes operation as a contractor by the licensee until the actual issuance of the renewal license for the ensuing license period. The date upon which a renewal application is filed shall be determined:
