IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF JAMES ANTHONY DAVIS, PETITIONER, FOR CHANGE OF NAME. JAMES ANTHONY DAVIS, Appellant.

ORDER OF AFFIRMANCE

James Anthony Davis appeals from a district court order denying a petition to change his name. Eleventh Judicial District Court, Pershing County; Jim C. Shirley, Judge.

Having considered the record before us, we conclude that Davis has not demonstrated that the district court improperly denied his petition to change his name. See NRS 41.290(1) (requiring the court to take an applicant's criminal record into account when deciding a name change petition); NRS 179.245(1) (requiring felony records to remain unsealed for a certain period of time after a person is released from custody or discharged from parole or probation). Accordingly, we

ORDER the judgment of the district court AFFIRMED.
