CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES
May 14, 1940
On April 8, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board issued a
Decision and Direction of Election in this proceeding.' Pursuant to
the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted
on April 20, 1940, under the direction and supervision of the Regional
Director for the Twenty-first Region (Los Angeles, California). On
April 22, 1940, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III,
Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regula-
tions-Series 2, as amended, issued an Election Report, copies of
which were duly served upon the parties.
As to the balloting and its results, the Regional Director reported
as follows :

No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report
have been filed by any of the parties.
By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor
Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Relations
Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of
National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as
amended,

IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that International Brotherhood of Team-
sters, Chauffeurs, Stablemen and Helpers, Local 913, affiliated with
the American Federation of Labor, has been designated and selected
by a majority of all truck drivers, maintenance men, warehousemen,
and processors employed by Western Consumers Feed Co., Hynes,
California, excluding supervisory, clerical, and office employees, as
their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and
that, pursuant to the provisions of Section 9 (a) of the National
Labor Relations Act, International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauf-
feurs, Stablemen and Helpers, Local 913, affiliated with the American
Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such em-
ployees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates
of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of
employment.

AMENDMENT TO DECISION AND DIRECTION OF ELEC-
TION AND CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES
May 24, 1940
On April 8, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board issued a
Decision and Direction of Election and on May 14, 1940, a Certifica-
tion of Representatives in the above-entitled proceeding.
In the section entitled "Statement of the Case" and in section II
of the Decision the local number of one of the labor organizations
involved was erroneously stated. In the Certification of Representa-
tives the name of the labor organization certified was set forth in its
long form instead of the short form set forth in the Direction of
Election and which appeared on the ballot pursuant to the request of
said labor organization. Accordingly,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Decision and Direction of Election
be, and the same hereby is, amended by striking from the section en-
titled "Statement of the Case" and from section II of the Decision
the words "Local 913" and substituting therefor the words "Local
692"; and
IT Is FURTHER ORDERED that the Certification of Representatives be,
and the same hereby is, amended by striking therefrom the words
"International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Stablemen and
Helpers, Local 913, affiliated with the American Federation of La-
bor," wherever they appear, and substituting therefor the words
"Teamsters Union No. 692, A. F. of L."
