employees are excluded from the unit as temporary employees lacking a reasonable expectation
of reemployment, we rely on United Telecontrol Electronics, Inc., 239 NLRB 1057, 1058 (1978)
(temporary employees excluded from the unit, where employer had recurring need for such
employees but circumstances did not establish that they had a reasonable expectation of
reemployment); Individual Drinking Cup Co., 115 NLRB 947, 949 (1956) (same); The United
Dairy Co., 57 NLRB 1350, 1353 (1944) (same).
The Board is open to addressing the normal criteria for mail balloting in a future
appropriate proceeding.
