I. O. - Case No. R-1944. CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES September 30, 1940 On August 20, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued its Decision and Direction of Election 1 in the above-entitled proceeding. Pursuant to the Direction of Elec- tion, an election by secret ballot was conducted on September 12, 1940, under the direction and supervision of the Regional -Director for the Second Region (New York City). On September 14, 1940, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III; Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. Series 2, as amended, IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Local 430 of the United Electrical, Radio 126 N. L R B 853 , 27 N. L. R. B, No. 109. 582 TELERADIO ENGINEERING CORPORATION 583 and Machine Workers of America, C. I. 0., has been designated and selected by a majority of all production employees of Teleradio Engi- neering. Corporation, New York City, including employees in the stockroom, repair and lacquer departments, machine-shop employees, set-up men, inspectors and 'testers, but excluding all such employees who have not worked for the Company at least 4 consecutive weeks, managers, assistant managers, superintendents, foremen, assistant foremen, supervisors, tool makers, maintenance men, porters, em- ployees in the engineering department, laboratory and office employees, and salaried employees receiving more than $25 per week, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Local 430 of the United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America, C. I. 0., is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
