1 In denying review, we agree with the Regional Director and contrary to the request for review
that Respiratory Educators are technical employees. Even apart from the Regional Director’s
finding that the Respiratory Educators share a community of interest with the employees in the
current unit of technicals, the petitioned-for Respiratory Educators constitute an appropriate
voting group for a self-determination election because they are technical employees, there is no
contention that there are other excluded technicals, and they are properly included in a unit of all
technical employees of the Employer.
