REPRESENTATIVES June 07, 1940 On May 7, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued its Decision and Direction of Election in the above- entitled proceeding.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on May 28, 1940, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Nineteenth Region (Seattle, Washing- ton). On May 29, 1940, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended,. issued and duly served on the parties his Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the bal- loting or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. The Regional Director reported the following results of the b.al- loting: . Total on eligibility list--------------------------------------- 143 Total ballots cast------------------------------------------- 117 Total votes in favor of International Woodworkers of America, Local Union No. 6-12--------------------`---------------- 81 Total votes against International Woodworkers of America, Local Union No. 6-12 -------------------------------------- 36 Total on eligibility list not voting---------------------------- 26 By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Rela- tions Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that International Woodworkers of America,. Local Union No. 6-12, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Or- ganizations, has been designated and selected by a majority of all production and maintenance employees at the logging camp of the 1 23 N. B., No. 112. 1025 1026 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD Pelican Bay Lumber Company, ,Klamath Falls, Oregon, excluding watchmen, clerical employees, and supervisory employees, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pur- suant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, International Woodworkers of America, Local Union No. 6-12, affiliated-with the Congress of Indus- trial Organizations, is the exclusive, representative, of all such em- ployees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employ- ment.
