In, the Matter of OAKES MANUFACTURING COMPANY, INC. and INDE- PENDENT EMPLOYEES' UNION Case No. R-1877 AMENDMENT TO DIRECTION OF ELECTION Jul?, 31, 1940 On--June 29, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board,' issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceedings,1, directing that an election be held within thirty, (30), ,days,, from the date of the said Direction of Election under the direction and supervision of the Regional -Director for the Eleventh Region (Indianapolis, -Indiana). The Board, having beeif advised' by, the Regional Director that a longer period within which to hold the election was necessary, hereby amends the Direc- tion of Election by striking therefrom the 'words "not later than thirty (30) days from the date of'this Direction of Election," and substituting therefor the words "not later than sixty (60) days from the date of this Direction of Election."
