CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES August 23, 1940 On July 11, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a decision and Direction of Election in the above- entitled proceeding.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on August 2, 1940, under the direction and supervision of the Acting Regional Director for the First Region (Boston, Massachusetts). On August 3, 1940, the Acting Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties his Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. L. It. B. 326 . Thereafter , on July 29, 1940 , United Garment Workers of America filed "Objection to Decision and Direction of Election ," dated July 26, 1940 . On August 2, 1940, the Board issued and duly served on the parties an order setting forth that the Board considered the "Objection" as a motion to reconsider its Decision , overruling the "Objection ," and denying the motion to reconsider. 26 N.
