Case No. R-1779 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES June 4, 19.40 On April 15, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued its Decision and Direction of Election in the above entitled proceeding.,' Pursuant to the Direction, an elec- tion by secret ballot was conducted under the direction and super- vision of the Regional Director for the Seventh Region (Detroit, Michigan). On May 17, 1940, the Regional Director, acting pur- suant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report were filed by any of the parties. B., No. 25. 355 356 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD majority of the hourly and piece-rate production and maintenance employees of Kawneer Company, including assistant foremen or supervisors, inspectors, firemen, shipping clerks, employees of Depart- ment 84, and temporary employees, but excluding foremen, time clerks, office janitors, time-study men, expediters, and all salaried employees other than watchmen, as their representative for the pur- poses of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Local 92, United Automobile Workers of America, A. F. of L., is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
